Notes on the service and on data protection

Data protection (GDPR). We process your details, your signature and your ID images solely to prepare and send your trade notification and to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to comply with statutory retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Transmission is encrypted, uploaded documents are stored encrypted. The server is located in Germany. The only recipients are the competent trade authority and Deutsche Post AG for the registered letter. We delete unfinished drafts after 14 days and ID images after 30 days. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. We only use Google Ads with your consent. Details in the privacy policy.

What we do. We help you fill in the official form GewA 1, check your details for completeness, determine the competent trade authority and send the trade notification signed by you there by registered mail. Processing, decision and confirmation are carried out exclusively by the competent authority. Our service is aimed at entrepreneurs and business founders (§ 14 BGB).

Also possible without us. You can always submit your trade notification yourself, without our service, directly to your municipality or the competent trade office, in many places also via the authority's online service. Only the official fees are charged there.
